Refugee Women and asylum-seekers may be protected on the grounds of gender-based persecution and the national legal framework provides protection against gender-based violence and discrimination.

Why is this considered a Good practice? The protection and special care for particularly vulnerable people is considered within the Brazilian national legal framework, which allows for the AGDM approach to be established as mainstream in the existing national policy.
